First Steps
• Be 16 or older
• Pass the Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) – Take the DKT →
• Receive your L plates and logbook
• Book lessons with a licensed instructor
Learner Path Guide:
• 1 hour with a professional = 3 logbook hours (up to 10 hours = 30 logbook hours)
• Over 25? No logbook required, but detailed lesson records are provided.
